No time for violence
Dear Editor,
Whilst investigations are still ongoing on the killings in Newlands, St Catherine, we as a nation and a people simply cannot allow ourselves to return to the days when we couldn’t say out loud which party we are for or else we and our family would be dead.
We must get to the days when people can gather at the various party meetings, no matter our political beliefs.
The days of political violence should and must stay in the past. We need to move ahead in a sensible and responsible manner. Lives matter. Life is precious. Life is meaningful.
