Firearm seized in St James

ST JAMES, Jamaica – Detectives assigned to the Montego Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) seized a firearm in Bogue Hill, Montego Bay, St James, on Friday.

Reports from the police are that about 7:50 am a team of officers carried out an operation and searched an abandon building, where they allegedly found a silver and black Gapp 9mm pistol in a suitcase.

However, no one was arrested in connection to the find.

The police say investigations continue.
