Henry hits unbeaten 58 in fourth trial match
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Herman Henry struck an unbeaten half-century for Ramaal Lewis XI against Brandon King XI in Sunday’s abbreviated limited-overs trial match at Kensington Park.
Lewis XI were 158-2 chasing 192 runs for victory with 16 overs remaining when the game was called off early to allow a short meeting between the selection panel, coaches and players.
Scores: King XI 191 (43 overs); Lewis XI 158-2 (34 overs)
Henry was on 58, while former Jamaica four-day captain Tamar Lambert was not out on 36.
Left-hander Trevon Griffith, who made a hundred in the third trial match on Saturday, contributed 41 this time around.
Earlier yesterday, King XI, who batted first, were dismissed for manage 191.
Andre McCarthy top-scored with 45, while King supported with 31.
Fast bowler Marquino Mindley led Lewis XI with 2-12 off five overs.
