Broken pipeline causes water disruption in Corporate Area

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission is advising customers in the Corporate Area that as a result of extreme emergency they will experience continuous disruption in their regular supply of water from 8:00 pm today to 8:00 am on Tuesday.

“This disruption is necessary in order to facilitate repairs to the broken 21-inch transmission line on Spanish Town Road,” a news release from NWC said Monday.

The NWC apologized to affected customers and moved to assure them that teams are working assiduously to have regular supply restored on or before Tuesday.
