Unbeaten teams to continue winning ways in JNBS Sunshine Open League netball

UNBEATEN teams, defending champions Mico ‘B’, along with Jamalco, Mico ‘A’, Waulgrovians ‘A’, Molynes United ‘A’, UWI Pelicans, and University of Technology (UTech) Knights will all be going in search of more wins as they look to keep their unbeaten runs in the 2016 Netball Jamaica/Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) Sunshine Open League competition today at the Leila Robinson Courts, starting at 1:00 pm.

Most of the seeded clubs will play two games over the weekend in the 40 matches scheduled.

Champions Mico ‘B’, coached by Annette Daley and Janet Guy are scheduled to play two matches against Blades United ‘B’ and Duhaney Park ‘A’ at 2:20 and 5:40 pm, respectively.

Meanwhile, losing finalist to Mico ‘B’ last year, Jamalco, are also down to play two matches against Maxfield Park and Payneland Steppers at 1:00 and 4:20 pm, respectively.

Molynes United ‘A’, coached by Roy Pryce should make easy work of Flying Angels ‘B’ to add to their string of wins.

The Winston Nevers-coached Cablepro should easily get past Tantrum and Sports and Games ‘A’, likewise the Marvette Anderson-coached Waulgrovians ‘A’ should come out convincing winners over Eden Strikers ‘A’ and Friendship, respectively.

Meanwhile, the other matches scheduled, Flying Angels ‘A’ face Arnett Gardens; Kens Wildflower oppose Payneland; Liguanea United vs Waulgrovians ‘B’ at 1:00 pm.

At 1:40pm, Police ‘B’ vs Ebony strikers; Raven ‘A’ vs Sports and Games ‘B’; Alexander Strikers vs Southboro; Tantrum vs Cablepro.

SPEG ‘B’ vs Upper Camp; Hagley Park vs Jetsetters; Waterhouse Eagles vs Tivoli Gardens at 2:20 pm.

At 3:00 pm, Molynes United ‘B’ vs Fresh Approach; Friendship vs Alpha ‘A’; Duhaney Park ‘B’ vs Queens Park.

At 3:40 pm, Jamaica Defence Force vs Alpha ‘A’; SKIBO vs Jobs Lane United ‘B’; Molynes United ‘A’ vs Flying Angels ‘B’.

Ken’s Wildflower vs Waulgrovians ‘B’; Pembroke Hall ‘C’ vs Liguanea United; Arnett Gardens vs Maxfield Park at 4:20 pm.

Raven ‘A’ vs Blades United ‘C’; Alexander Strikers vs Tantrum; Sports and Games ‘A’ vs Cablepro; Southboro vs Ebony Strikers at 5:00 pm.

At 5:40 pm, Jetsetters vs Tivoli Gardens; Upper Camp vs Waterhouse Eagles; Hagley Park vs Blades United ‘B’.

Raven ‘B’ vs Duhaney Park ‘B’; Alpha ‘B’ vs Fresh Approach at 6:20 pm; Rollington Town vs Jobs Lane United ‘B’; Jamaica Defence Force vs Wolmer’s ‘A’; Flying Angels ‘B’ vs Alpha ‘A’ at 7:00 pm.

Meanwhile, matches scheduled for tomorrow are: Police ‘A’ vs Progressive Strikers; Sports and Games ‘A’ vs Drewsland; Molynes United ‘C’ vs Wolmer’s ‘C’ at 3:00 pm.

Red Challenege vs Top Mountain Flames; Mico ‘A’ vs Global United; UTech Knights vs Duhaney Park ‘C’; Pembroke Hall ‘B’ vs Westchester ‘B’ at 3:40 pm.

At 4:20 pm, Police ‘C’ vs Mico ‘C’; New Kingston Raiders vs SPEG ‘A’; Pembroke Hall ‘A’ vs Westchester ‘A’; EXED Saints vs UWI Pelicans.

Progressive Strikers vs Molynes United ‘C’; Drewsland vs Tryall Heights; Sports and Games ‘A’ vs Blades United ‘A’ at 5:00 pm.

Top Mountain Flames vs Global United; Ocho Rios Magics vs Pembroke Hall ‘B’; UTech Knights vs Red Challenge; Duhaney Park ‘C’ vs Mico ‘A’ at 5:40 pm; Jobs Lane United ‘A’ vs Westchester ‘A’; UWI Pelicans vs SPEG ‘; New Kingston Raiders vs Mico ‘C’; Police ‘C’ vs Pembroke Hall ‘A’ at 6:20 pm.
