PNP candidate JP White steps down
KINGSTON, Jamaica – People’s National Party (PNP) Trelawny Northern candidate John-Paul White has stepped down.
This was confirmed by Delano Franklyn, PNP campaign spokesperson, late Thursday.
The governing party will now have to find a replacement by nomination day, which is set for February 9.
News surfaced Tuesday that a company owned by White owed $17 million in taxes
The Observer learnt that White yesterday paid $3 million of the sum, leaving the approximately $14 million.
