Fatal crash on I-95
A 42-year-old motorcyclist died early yesterday from injuries he received in an accident on the I-95 main road in Caymanas, St Catherine.
He has been identified as Sule Ivy of Swain Road, Red Hills Road, in St Andrew.
The accident, the police said yesterday, happened minutes after 1:00 am when Ivy lost control of the vehicle driving the vehicle along the stretch. The out-of-control motorcycle then collided with a Toyota Hiace bus that was travelling in the opposite direction.
Both drivers were taken to hospital where Ivy died while being treated. The other driver remained in hospital up until press time last night.
The injured driver of the Toyota Hiace bus is being helped from the scene by firefighters.
