Motorcyclist collides with motor truck, dies — Police

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – A 42-year-old man died as a result of injuries he received in a motor vehicle collision along I-95 main road, Caymanas, St Catherine, this morning.

He is Sule Ivy of Red Hills Road in St Andrew

Reports from police are that about 1:00 am, Ivy was driving his motorcycle along the roadway when he collided with a Toyota Hiace motor truck travelling in the opposite direction.

Both drivers were taken to hospital where Ivy died while being treated. The other driver remains in hospital.

The police say investigations are ongoing.
