Traffic being diverted after crash on Spanish Town Road

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police officers have cordoned off an area of Spanish Town Road in St Andrew and are diverting traffic following a motor vehicle crash this afternoon.

Traffic travelling towards Mandela Highway from Spanish Town Road is being diverted onto Weymouth Drive, where motorists can make their way on to Washington Boulevard and then proceed to Mandela Highway.

OBSERVER ONLINE has learnt that three people, who are believed to be police officers, died in the crash.

The details of the crash are not immediately available but OBSERVER ONLINE was told that the incident happened shortly before 3:00 pm.
