The UTech, Jamaica Academy is committed to providing opportunities for personal and professional academic development by recruiting and preparing students for matriculation into the established faculty programmes and by providing professional and continuing education programmes to meet the needs of individuals and groups. The Papine campus is the base for the Academy but it currently offers programmes from locations in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.

Among the professional courses offered are:

•Associate degree in Business Administration

(students graduate or matriculate into 3rd year of BBA at UTech)

•Diplomas in Management Studies and Human Resource

Development

•Supervisory Management

•Project Management

Other short courses offered through the Faculties (EMT, Phlebotomy, Baking Technology among others) are also facilitated through the Academy. Pre-university courses including English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics prepare students for matriculation into University courses.
