Cuban woman nabbed with forged J’can passport at NMIA
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police attached to the Norman Manley International Airport Police Post on Monday arrested and charged a Cuban woman for forgery, uttering forged documents and conspiracy to deceive.
She has been identified as 29-year-old Yamile Alvarez Hernandez, an accountant of Sancti Spiritus, Cuba.
Reports are that about 5:30 am, Hernandez attempted to depart the island for New York using a forged Jamaican passport that was reported lost.
Hernandez was later charged.
She is to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on Friday, February 12.
