Two shot dead in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Two men were last night shot dead in Clarendon within minutes of each other in the communities of Exeter and Lionel Town in the parish.
Reports are that about 9:20 pm, lawmen assigned to the Exeter Police Station were alerted to a shooting incident at Hayle Field, Race Course in the parish. On their arrival a man was seen lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
He has been identified as 36-year-old Ian Reid, otherwise called ‘Bad Indian’, of a Race Course address. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Ten minutes later, officers assigned to the Lionel Town Station responded to the sound of explosions along Dick Drive in the town.
On their arrival a man identified as 20-year-old Ishmale Robinson of Dick Drive was found along the roadway with gunshot wounds.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations continue.
