Arnett demolish SV Notch of Suriname 8-4

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic – Three goals by Michealos Martin propelled Arnett Gardens to an 8-4 demolition of SV Notch of Suriname in their Caribbean Football Union Club Championship at the Estadio Quisqueya in the Dominican Republic today.

The slick moving Martin netted in the 20th, 36th and 45+1 minute while Kemal Malcolm grabbed a brace in the 15th and 19th minute in a frenetic first half in which Vishinul Harris also scored in the 44th minute.

Second half goals by substitute Newton Sterling who replaced Harris in the 70th minute, tapped home in the 75th and Kenneil Hyde completed the rout in the 85th minute with a neat finish.

Arnett are provisionally top of the group with maximum six points while SV Notch are pointless. In the late game Club Atletico Pantoja of the Dominican Republic with three points are set to play the pointless America FC of Haiti.
