Two cousins drown in St Thomas

ST THOMAS, Jamaica — Two cousins are suspected to have drowned at the South Haven Beach in Yallahs, St Thomas, on Easter Monday.

They have been identified as 13-year-old Rajae Sterling and 17-year-old Brandon Gordon, both of Pearl Lane, Poor Man’s Corner in the parish.

Reports from the Yallahs police are that about 2:30 pm, the boys went for a swim when they encountered difficulties.

Residents and members of the Marine Division later removed their bodies from the water.

The police say no foul play is suspected.
