Scotiabank signs on for Diner en Blanc

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Scotiabank will roll out the wow factor for wealth clients who have been invited as guests for Diner en Blanc, this weekend.

The secret pop-up picnic affair that last year made its debut in Kingston has already established itself as an event to meet the movers and shakers from across corporate Jamaica.

In its second year, the Scotiabank Group, Insurance, Premium Banking and Investment, has again signed on to be the official bank sponsor of the event. The bank has been the first financial institution internationally to play an official role in presenting the affair.

The event — which is a unique epicurean picnic — puts authentic Jamaican entertainment and gourmet cuisine on show and has proven its ability to create opportunities for small and medium enterprises within the service industry.

Guests of the bank, who were entertained at the last event, expressed their incredible delight at being part of this unique experience which brought food, friends and fashion together in an eclectic environment.

This year will be no different, as Scotiabank guests will again be treated to excellent food, wine and entertainment presented by specially organised concierges offering first-class service.

In addition, a Scotiabank experience will be gift to two couples with chauffeured transportation to and from the event in the luxurious 2016 Audi Q7, courtesy of ATL Automotive.

Diner en Blanc attendees, who will converge in a yet to be revealed public setting, will also receive an opportunity to win bottles of wine during the evening.

Those in attendance will bring their own gourmet feast, utensils and table setting. Over the course of the evening, they will eat and celebrate amid music, entertainment and dancing.
