Sol sizzles with Weatherman
UP-AND-COMING dancehall artiste Sol believes that the ‘weather’ has changed for his career and sunny days are ahead with his latest single, Weatherma.
The single was released three weeks ago on the Krayv Music imprint.
“Right now, the settings ah ‘climate change’, things look brighter with mi career from the Weatherman song start do road. This song is the one that is getting the most buzz for me in the streets, and it has started to go mainstream,” said Sol.
“This song has the potential to be my first major hit,” he continued.
He said he is actively promoting Weatherman.
Sol also said the video for Feel So Good, released a month ago, has racked up over 106,000 views on YouTube.
Sol (given name Andre Rowe), was born in Kingston and attended St Jago High in Spanish Town St Catherine. He migrated to the United States in 2003.
He recorded his first single in 2010 and began to open at big shows for established acts like Serani and Gyptian.
After moving to Virginia, his fan base continued to grow. However, he yearned to return to his roots, so he took a chance to come back to his native land to pursue music.
