Mandeville, Manchester – Premium clients of Scotiabank here were this month the toast of an evening of appreciation and celebration.

Premium clients, according to manager in the division, Christopher Samuels, are within an exclusive group that, among other things, maintain multiple accounts, high value accounts, and have an excellent credit history with the facility.

Samuels told the group out for the event at Manchester Golf Club, that in return for maintaining their strong relationship with the bank, premium customers get the best of what the financial institution has to offer.

The Premium Banking Centre started at Scotiabank Mandeville in 2014.

Samuels said that it is now ranked at number one among centres in Jamaica and he credited the clients for helping to make that happen.

“I can boast that I have the best staff, best team (but) all of that would be irrelevant if you as (our) valued customers didn’t buy into the concept of premium banking,” he said.

With expectations of further growth, Samuels told the audience that going forward Scotiabank will be sharing other milestones with its clients on the journey.

“We like to fête our customers. We like to give back. We like to make you feel special,” he said.

Samuels said that once clients are invited to be a part of premium banking they will not only benefit from the select service in Jamaica but can do so with ease at other branches where it is offered, even outside of the country.

Premium banking clients include executives and business people, he said.

Suzan Sinclair, regional sales manager of Scotia Jamaica Life Insurance, used the occasion to reinforce the need to plan adequately for the future.

“We have been around for over seventeen years and during that period we have carefully observed the apathy that Jamaicans have in effectively preparing themselves for their financial future. We have created products to cater for your entire life cycle,” she said.
