Sandals Whitehouse will be going after their first title, while Granville FC will be looking to secure their first since 2000, when they meet in the May 1 final of the Jamaica Football Federation’s Charley’s JB Rum Western Confederation Super League.

Both teams scored 3-1 aggregate wins in the semi-finals that ended on Sunday at the Frome Sports Grounds.

Sandals Whitehouse edged many time- champions Wadadah FC 1-0 on Sunday, after the first game at Jarrett Park the previous week ended 2-2, while Granville FC won 2-0 with late goals after the first leg had ended 1-1.

Romario Levy scored Sandals Whitehouse’s most important goal ever in the 23rd minute as they avenged last year’s loss to Wadadah FC in the semi-finals.

It was the first win ever for Sandals Whitehouse over Wadadah FC, but the victory came at the right time to send them to the final.

In the other game on Sunday, veterans Odane Snow and David Gillard scored in the last 10 minutes of regulation time when the game appeared to be headed to overtime, securing the win for the mid-season champions.

Granville FC had to come from behind in the first game, played at Jarrett Park the previous Sunday, but the teams were goalless until the 80th minute when Snow, who returned to the team this season after playing with Faulkland FC last season, got the first goal in the 80th minute.

David Gillard confirmed the victory and qualification for the final when he scored Granville FC’s second goal in the 90th minute.
