MANCHESTER, Jamaica – The police are confirming that there is a joint police/military operation currently under way in Cross Keys, Manchester, as they pursue Marlon Perry, one of Jamaica’s most wanted men.

Perry, otherwise called, ‘Duppy Film’ of Phillipsfield in Yallahs, St Thomas, was implicated in the brutal slaying of Corporal Kenneth Davis and Constable Craig Palmer on Tuesday, December 22.

The policemen were killed on the Poor Man’s Corner main road in St Thomas.

The police are making a special appeal to residents of Cross Keys and surrounding communities to immediately report any suspicious people or movements to member/s of the security forces on the ground and/or call Crime Stop at 311, 811 or the police 119 emergency numbers.

The JCF is also reassuring residents that their safety is a priority and are appealing to the residents to remain calm and comply with the instructions of the members of the security forces as this operation is geared towards capturing this armed and extremely dangerous criminal.

Last Wednesday, a lawmen in a joint police/military operation combed the Harbour View area of St Andrew in an effort to apprehend ‘Duppy Film’. However, he managed to evade them.
