Petrojam, Union summoned to meeting at Labour Ministry

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Ministry of Labour and Social Security says it has scheduled an emergency conciliatory meeting for today at 2:00 pm at the Ministry’s North Street office to meet with representatives from Petrojam Limited and the Petroleum Workers Association, which is representing workers.

The Petroleum Workers Association is an affiliate of the Union of Clerical, Administrative and Supervisory Employees (UCASE).

The meeting is being called to address a 72-hour notice of industrial action issued by the union to Petrojam Limited.
