Father sought in death of 3-y-o girl
MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica — The St James police are now searching for the father of a three-year-old girl whose body was fished from the water here at the Dump-Up Beach in Montego Bay this morning.
Reports are that last evening a man, purporting to be the father of the infant, called a family member to say he was going to kill his daughter and ditch her body at the popular Montego Bay beach, then kill himself.
The police, who were summoned, unsuccessfully searched the water for the body last night. But upon their return to the area his morning, they found the body in the sea.
The cops are now awaiting the results of a post mortem to determine the cause of the little girl’s death.
