BAY Beach in Ocho Rios, St Ann, will provide the backdrop for the second anniversary of Appleton Special Sandz: Ultimate Beach Chill on Sunday, May 29.

The cooler event is slated to kick off at 12 noon.

O’Neil Forbes, one of the event’s coordinators, said Sandz prides itself on fulfilling expectations.

“We are always asked about our secret to the success of Appleton Special Sandz, but to be frank, we are constantly learning and adjusting to ensure patrons have the best quality in entertainment that the Supreme Team Limited has to offer. We take pride in our brand and go to extremes to guarantee and fulfil all of their expectations and promises,” said Forbes.

After two years of staging at different locations throughout the country, Appleton Special Sandz continues to have growing support. The upcoming anniversary edition will be the third since 2016.

Gary Dixon, marketing director for J Wray & Nephew Limited, said he is excited for the partnership’s second anniversary staging.

“It is amazing to see the growth of Appleton Special Sandz in such a short period of time. We encourage everyone to come out and have a great time, as rum rules responsibly always with Appleton Special,” he said.

Appleton Special Sandz allows patrons to bring their own drinks of choice to a comfortably designed venue, creating a great party experience for friends to build and share memories with high energy, food, and entertainment. Musical selections will be provided by some of Jamaica’s top disc jockeys and sound systems.
