KINGSTON, Jamaica – After relinquishing one of their titles a few weeks ago, Immaculate Conception Prep School will be aiming to hold fast to the coveted Milo Preparatory/Primary schools swimming crown when the 19th renewal of the championship gets going at the National Aquatic Centre Friday.

The exciting two-day event will commence at 8:30 am with preliminary round action and 9:00 am Saturday with finals only.

The championship is dubbed the mother of all preparatory and primary school swim meets and is the only school meet to have heats and finals.

It has become an indelible fixture on the schools’ swimming calendar across Jamaica and is awaited with much anticipation being the last for the academic year.

With Nestle celebrating 150 years worldwide and 75 years in Jamaica, the swim meet promises to be the biggest staging to date with Jamaica’s rising stars taking on the Milo challenge to break 19 records for a cash prize of $100,000.

Immaculate Conception will once again be aiming to get the better of arch-rivals Stella Maris Prep School in what should be an intense rivalry among the young swimmers.
