Gun, ammo seized in Kingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The police are reporting the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition in Foster Lane, Kingston on Wednesday.

Reports are that about 10:45 am, an operation was carried out in the area when a premises was searched and a .45 semi-automatic pistol and eight .45 rounds of ammunition were seized.

The police say no one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
