Stay Alert App

The Ministry of National Security’s “Stay Alert” app offers you Personal Safety at your fingertips! An app which is free to access both on Flow & Digicel.

Stay Alert has four components:

Alerts which provide users with the latest news, alerts and tips from the police such as missing person updates, road blocks, and other information from the police blotters.

iReport which allows users to anonymously upload video, audio, photo or message about suspicious individuals or crimes.

The Laws provides users with a snippets of Jamaican laws for them to read and understand, and apply to real-life situations

The Panic Mode which, when activated, sends an alert to the police that you are in an emergency situation.

Downloading the app is easy! Simple as 1, 2, 3

1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android phone and type “Stay Alert” in the search bar.

2. Select the option to download the Stay Alert app

3. Once installed, Stay Alert will be accessible via the icon on your home screen.

When you open the app you’ll receive a prompt to enter your mobile number — your phone number is needed to help you if you ever need to press the “Panic Alert” function.

Don’t forget to complete your profile page by clicking the icon on the top right corner of the open app screen.
