British national held with ganja at airport
ST JAMES, Jamaica – A British national was arrested and charged after being held with two pounds of ganja, disguised in bottles of honey, while attempting to board a flight at Sangster International Airport, on Wednesday.
Charged with breaches of the Dangerous Drug Act is 64-year-old Everton Dorman of Eastfield in London, England.
Reports from the narcotics police are that about 4:05 pm, officers were carrying out checks when Dorman’s luggage was searched and the ganja found. He was subsequently taken into custody.
Dorman is scheduled to appear before the St James Parish Court on Wednesday, July 13.
