Pepper pot – Finding something for Warmington to do

People are saying that there should be a law against a prime minister being forced to give an MP a job, in this case Everald Warmington. Not having anything to do as state minister with responsibility for works, Warmington announced the intended discontinuation of the bus lane on the Washington Boulevard. JUTC is saying that the state minister had no authority to make such a decision as that is the job of the minister of transport, Mike Henry.

Here we go again

The changing of names of programmes by new political administrations continues shamelessly. Now the PNP’s Jamaica Emergency Employment Programme (JEEP) has been renamed HOPE – Housing, Opportunity, Prosperity, Employment – by the JLP Administration. When will these boys grow up?

No smoke without fire
