Eighth person in Bog Walk crash turns up at police station
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The police have reported that the eighth person in Saturday’s crash along the Bog Walk Gorge in St Catherine turned up at the Spanish Town Police Station yesterday.
He is said to be in good health.
The police, with military help, combed the Rio Cobre on Saturday in search of the man, after a Suzuki Grand Vitara motorcar travelling towards Bog Walk ran off the road and into the Rio Cobre about 1:00am.

Relatives of the victims alleged that he was the driver of the ill-fated vehicle and said he fled the scene upon realising the gravity of the situation.
Six bodies were removed from the river following the incident. Dead are: Bishop Stephen Ricketts, his two sons Shevaughnie and Sujay Ricketts, Benjamin Ellis, Crystine Morris and O’Neil Robinson.
Shane Harris, 19, was the only person thought to have survived the incident.
The motor vehicle was removed from the water with assistance from the Spanish Town Fire Department and the Jamaica Defence Force.
