RDX kickstarts summer with new dance ‘LOL’
The dancehall duo RDX, have taken the streets by storm with their new song LOL. Inspired by a dance created by a dance crew know as the Tuffalie dancers, who invented the dance with the same name. It’s been a while since we’ve heard a dance song from RDX, the last one being
Mr. Wacky last year.
“We look on the dance floor and see that everybody and dem granny a do the dance, but those who claim to be responsible for dancing wasn’t singing about it because they or their friends didn’t create it.” Delomar of RDX related.RDX says they “obeyed the dance floor” and created the LOL song.
According to other group member Renegade “The LOL dance move itself is infused with steps that everybody can follow. It’s not just for dancers, it’s for the ladies & thugs too. These dancers ‘TuffaLie’ are really talented and deserve to get their moves highlighted, that’s why we had them intro the single and appear in the video as well”.
The dance is entertaining and honestly fairly simple. Even small children are shown busting the moves in the video. The music video was shot at the ‘LOL headquarters’ in the community of Jungle in Kingston and shows a party scene with everyone enjoying the dance move and having a good time. You can view the video on YouTube, here, for all to look and try out the move.
