U-15 Girls’ Champs: Jamaica lead Venezuela 2-1 at HT
FLORIDA, United States – Jamaica are 2-1 up against invited team Venezuela at half time in Group B of the CONCACAF Under-15 Girls’ Championship encounter at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
Giselle Washington, who scored from the penalty spot in the 25th minute, and Sydoney Clarke’s long-range free kick in the 32nd minute handed Jamaica the advantage at the halfway stage.
Keisy Rondon had given the South American team the early lead in the eighth minute.
Jamaica lost 1-2 and 0-5 to Costa Rica and title holders Canada, respectively, in their previous Group B outings.
Venezuela are also without a point after two losses.
