WATCH: Manchester police recover stolen items, public urged to make contact
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Police in Manchester are asking members of the public who have been robbed of their belongings to identify stolen items at the Mandeville police station.
The appeal follows a recent operation by the police in Mile Gully in search of a man wanted for questioning in connection with break-ins. Police are appealing for Damion Biggs to turn himself in to the Mandeville Criminal Investigation Branch or the nearest police station.
Police said, following a raid at a premises in Mile Gully, dozens of items suspected to have been stolen were recovered. The items include electronics, appliances, household items, curtains, plumbing fixtures including toilets and faucets, doors among other items.
Police said members of the public whose premises were broken into can visit the Mandeville police station and bring identifying information to verify ownership of the material.
