WISYNCO ‘A’ stopped the unbeaten run of Urban Development Corporation (UDC) with a 36-28 win in their 2016 Business House Netball Association Intermediate ‘A’ League last Saturday at St Andrew High School.

Sylvester ‘Chris’ Campbell, coach of UDC, said that pushing his team from Intermediate ‘B’ to ‘A’ after three-straight wins broke the morale of the players.

“This was our first loss as a result of being placed in another league above. So we have another ten tough matches to play against some good teams and it won’t be easy ones. It is going to be very hard on the players as they will have to start all over again in a higher League. The team was not ready to play at that level, and we have to push them harder for them to be competitive at this stage,” Campbell said.

In other Intermediate ‘A’ League results, Jamaica Public Service trounced Guardian Life 53-27; Jamaica National Building Society whipped Digicel Jamaica 42-25; and Sagicor Life ‘A’ got past GraceKennedy 35-30.

In the Intermediate ‘B’ League, Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) ‘B’ defeated Sutherland Global Services 29-18; and National Housing Trust ‘B’ outscored National Water Commission 20-16.

Defending Senior League champions Scotiabank ‘A’ defeated Ministry of Education, Youth and Information 44-35 to chalk up their fourth-consecutive win.

For Scotiabank ‘A’, Tennisha Bernard score 27 goals from 36 attempts, while for Ministry of Education, Nardia Hanson score 21 goals from 28 attempts.

In another Senior League match, JUTC)’A’ defeated Scotiabank ‘B’ 36-19. Over in the Junior League, Housing Agency of Jamaica defeated Cari-Med 32-19; Continental Baking Company outscored WISYNCO ‘B’ 26-19.
