England Women restricted to 149 in 1st ODI vs West Indies

TRELAWNY, Jamaica — Hosts West Indies Women dismissed their England counterparts for 149 here at Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium in the first of five One-Day Internationals.

The West Indies run-chase will begin after the lunch break.

Scores: England 149 (49.1 overs) 

Earlier, England won the toss and chose to bat first in sunny conditions.

After a 32-run first-wicket stand between Lauren Winfield, who made 24, and Tammy Beaumont (eight), England lost wickets regularly and folded for a modest total.

Number six batter Danielle Wyatt top-scored with 44. West Indies medium pacer Deandra Dottin took 3-21 off five overs.
