Queen’s, Camperdown go in search of more wins
THE Queen’s School and Camperdown High will go in search of their third-straight win as the 2016 Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) Urban Junior and Senior Netball Leagues continue this afternoon.
Former Senior League champions The Queen’s School will journey to Windward Road where they will play home team Vauxhall, beginning at 3:15 pm.
Queen’s will be hard to beat, as in their first two matches they crushed their opponents Holy Trinity High and St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) 64-20 and 64-5, respectively.
Queen’s shooters Brithney McKenzie and Hasana Williams could likely go on another goalscoring spree, should the attacking plays of Khadene Thaxter, Danica Ferguson and Britney Taylor come together in the centre court department.
Meanwhile, Camperdown will play away to Holy Childhood in the Junior League at 2:30 pm. The Camperdown Road aggregation have beaten Jose Marti Technical High 38-21 and St Mary’s College 30-7. They will again look to shooters Roschena James and Keana Sturridge to score the goals and push them to victory.
