St Elizabeth man killed in motor vehicle collision

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – The Santa Cruz police are investigating circumstances surrounding a motor vehicle collision which claimed the life of a man on Main Street, Santa Cruz in St Elizabeth yesterday. 

The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Andrew Abrahams of Burnt Ground in the parish.

Reports are that about 1:00 am, Abrahams was a passenger in a motor car travelling along Main Street, when another vehicle collided with it. 

It is alleged that Abrahams was flung from the vehicle into a utility pole. 

The police say he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
