Cops appeal for witnesses in HWT fatal shooting
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The police are appealing for witnesses in the recent shooting death of a man at the Constant Sprint Arcade, in Half Way Tree, St Andrew.
The man, who has only been identified by his alias ‘Spike’, was shot dead on September 28 during a confrontation with a woman, who is said to be a licensed firearm holder.
The police were summoned and his body removed to the morgue. The licensed firearm holder has since been questioned and the firearm taken for ballistic testing.
As investigations continue, the police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the Half Way Tree Criminal Investigation Branch at 926-2551, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
