Manning Cup Football: XCLR, George’s draw 2-2
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Excelsior High waltz into the Super Cup for the second year in succession following their 2-2 draw with St George’s College in their Group A 45-minute resumption match in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/FLOW Manning Cup schoolboy football competition at Stadium East earlier today.
The game was a 45-minute continuation of a September 20 game that was abandoned following the death of St George’s player Dominic James.
When the game was halted Excelsior were leading St George’s College two goals to one with goals from Thorne Buchanan for Excelsior in the 30th and 37th minutes and Akeem Robotham for St George’s College respectively in minute 25.
