Man’s body found floating in sea
DETECTIVES assigned to the Denham Town Police Station are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a man which was seen afloat yesterday in the sea, in the vicinity of Ocean Boulevard, Kingston.
The body is of dark complexion; medium build, 172 centimetres (5 feet 8 inches) long, and appears to be in its late 30s. It was clad in burgundy underwear, the police reported.
Police said they stumbled upon the body of the man about 12:30 pm. It was subsequently fished from the water, processed at the scene and the body removed to the morgue for post-mortem.
The Denham Town police are asking anyone with information who can assist them in identifying the body to contact them at 948-6443, 119 or the nearest police station.
