At least 11 homeless after Tivoli apartment fire

KINGSTON, Jamaica — At least 11 people are now homeless after fire gutted a section of an apartment building near Tivoli Court in West Kingston this morning.

No one was injured i9n the blaze.

According to information from police at the scene, fire was seen coming from the building about 9:15 am.

The upper level of the two-storey dwelling was destroyed by the fire, while property belonging to the occupants of the other floor were damaged during cooling down operations.

According to the police, the cause of the fire is yet to be determined but the fire department is investigating.
