Policeman shot and injured in St Ann
ST ANN, Jamaica — A policeman was shot and injured at about 3:00 am, along the Priory main road in the vicinity of the Shazz gas station on Thursday morning, October 20.
The policeman was reportedly shot in the leg after he signalled a vehicle to stop. Reports are that the police were conducting spot checks when the policeman signalled a vehicle to stop. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and instead fired shots at the police.
OBSERVER ONLINE has since learned that the policeman who was shot is not in serious condition.
