EMERGING deejay Dotta Coppa is working hard in the studio on an eight-song compilation EP dubbed Son of a King.

The project is slated to be released in December.

“The EP will combine the best elements of modern-day dancehall and combinations with great and up-and-coming reggae artistes,” he said.

According to the deejay, the set will boast his popular track Ride It Gal and his follow-up single, Nuh Play, and feature artistes including Nitty Kutchie, Jah Mason, and Ras Goudie.

Produced by Prince Villa for PV Records, Ride It Gal is being distributed by 21st-Hapilos Digital Distribution. The accompanying video was directed and produced by Media Release Entertainment.

Dotta Coppa, who is an albino, has had to overcome discrimination in his pursuit of musical success.

“Being an albino in the music business is challenging because is nuff time people try style (diss) me about mi skin colour but mi hold mi meds and allow my talent fi bring mi through. When I see what my great mentor Yellowman has achieved, I know once I apply myself, work hard and provide good longevity music, I shall be a household name and winning awards like the King,” he said.
