Reson8 hoping for time of his life
FOCUSED on making himself a household name locally, England-based singjay Reson8 penned the single Time Of My Life.
“While I was reflecting on my passion for music, the melody and words came to me. The song speaks of my life and the things I need to pursue in order to make it big musically,” he said.
Time Of My Life is on the Black Rum Rhythm and is produced by True Blue Family Records. The single will be officially released in a week’s time. However, it has already made its way into the clubs and on social media.
According to the singjay, an accompanying video is earmarked for February next year.
Born Ronald Grossett in St Thomas, Reson8 (formerly Young Flex) said he was drawn to music due to his dad’s involvement with a community sound system called Mellow Construction Sound.
Reson8 migrated to England in 1998. In 2009 he released his first single. However, after a name change and a shift in musical direction, he feels he’s now on the right path.
“Inspirational music will have a long-lasting effect on people,” he said.
His other songs include Ramp Rough, Top Shelf featuring Savage, and Nuh Breaks.
