PNP candidates in St Ann refuse to sign political code of conduct
ST ANN, Jamaica — Candidates of the People’s National Party walked out of the signing of the political code of conduct in St Ann a short while ago, refusing to sign.
The councillors expressed anger at money allocated to carry out bushing across the country at this time.
The signing got off to a rocky start this morning after candidates from both political parties and their supporters loudly expressed their grouse with each other.
After reaching a calm state, the ceremony started but, PNP candidates supported by Member of Parliament Dr Dayton Campbell walked out when the signing of the documents started.
More details later.
