ISSA/Tru-Juice All-island U-14, U-16 titles to be decided today
MANDEVILLE, Manchester — Kingston College will hope to retain their ISSA/Tru-Juice All-island Under-16 title today when they take on Rural Area champions Clarendon College in the second game of a double-header at Manchester High set to start at 2:30 pm.
In the first game, set to start at 1:00 pm, Rural Area champions Cornwall College and Corporate Area winners Tivoli Gardens will meet to decide the Under-14 all-island championship.
The double-header will bring to a close the ISSA schoolboy football season that started in early September.
Clarendon College and Cornwall College won the respective Rural Area titles last Thursday with 1-0 wins over Glenmuir High and Knox College, respectively, also at Manchester High.
Kingston College retained their Corporate Area Under-16 title beating Calabar High 3-0 but lost their Under-14 crown, beaten 1-0 by Tivoli Gardens in the final, conceding their first goal all season and losing for the first time in several years.
