Troy Ave recuperating after shooting incident
Troy Ave, the American rapper who collaborated with dancehall artiste Kranium on the hit song Lifestyle, is recovering after being shot for the second time this year.
The entertainer, whose given name is Roland Collins, was reportedly shot twice last Sunday in Brooklyn, New York, while sitting in his car.
According to police reports, 31-year-old Collins was in a red Maserati when a man fired several rounds into the car, striking him once in the arm and grazing his head.
The rapper is out on bail following his arrest in May for alleged connection with a shooting inside a popular Manhattan club.
He pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted murder. He also was shot in that incident.
Kranium and Troy Ave’s remix of Lifestyle went number one on the iTunes Reggae Charts in 2015.
