Catherine Hall, Seba could extend lead in Sandals International Senior League
SPOT VALLEY, St James — Zone leaders Catherine Hall FC and Seba FC could both extend their advantages in the St James Football Association Sandals International Senior League this afternoon with victories.
Catherine Hall, who lead Zone One with 10 points, will travel to Spot Valley High to face Mountain Villa, while Seba FC, also on 10 points in Zone Two, will take on MoBay City FC at the UDC field, both games set to start at 3:30 pm.
Both games had ended 1-1 in the first round, but Catherine Hall and Seba FC are in better form of late and are expected to win today.
Meanwhile, Melbourne Mind Games FC won back-to-back games for the first time this season after beating Revelation FC 2-0 in their return-round game played at the UDC Field on Tuesday.
The former two-time finalists were winless in their first three games but have turned around their form with two wins without conceding a goal to race up the points table into third place.
Davion Brown scored in the 10th minute for Melbourne Mind Game, while Aiden Jokomba added a second in the 75th minute to secure the victory.
At Bickersteth, Heights FC came from two goals down to earn a point in a 2-2 draw with Marl Road to improve to eight points and stay in second place in Zone One.
Chevon Smith had given Marl Road a 2-0 lead with goals in the 40th and 53rd minutes before Wade Daley responded with a double of his own in the 63rd and 73rd minutes.
