UPDATE: Marcus Garvey Drive closure postponed

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Public Service (JPS) and the National Works Agency (NWA) have advised that Marcus Garvey Drive will no longer be closed tomorrow, Saturday, March 4.

In a statement a short while ago, JPS announced that the popular thoroughfare would remain open after a postponement of the planned replacement of high tension wires in the vicinity of JPS’ Hunts Bay power station.
