Body of unidentified woman found in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica — The body of an unidentified woman was today discovered in Mahoe Gully on the John’s Hall main road in Clarendon.
The police say they were summoned this morning, after residents spotted the body over a precipice about 7:00 am.
The deceased is believed to be in her late thirties, is of dark complexion, stout build and was about 5 feet 4 inches tall.
She was clad in an orange and black blouse, blue merino, grey sweater, blue denim skirt and a pair of grey socks and also sported a ‘jherri’ curl hairstyle.
Meanwhile, in another incident in Clarendon, the police are reporting that a homemade shotgun and one 12 gauge spent casing were seized in Bandoo Sand Mine, York Town.
Reports from the York Town police are that they were summoned by residents after a robbery attempt and discovered the abandoned firearm.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
