ST ANN, Jamaica — The St Ann Municipal Corporation is urging St Ann residents, especially those in arrears, to utilise the services of the Mobile Property Tax unit, which will be in four communities in the parish this week from March 8 to 11. 

The unit will be at the Alexandria Square on Wednesday; Ocho Rios Town Centre on Thursday; at the Brown’s Town Car Park on Friday; and the Claremont Square on Saturday. It will be in operation from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. 

The Municipal Corporation in a release on Tuesday stated that all forms of payment, including debit and credit cards, cheques and cash, will be accepted. 

It also urged residents who would like to know the amount they owe before visiting the unit to contact the TAJ.

The mobile unit, which was launched last month, is a collaborative effort of the islands municipal corporations, the Ministry of Local Government and Community Development and the Tax Administration of Jamaica to boost property tax collection.
