Courts Optical comes to Mandeville
Mandeville, Manchester — Courts Optical recently opened its first store in this south-central town catering for those in search of eyeglasses and accessories including prescription lenses and frames.
Ann-Marie Williams, director of sales at Unicomer Jamaica — which owns and operates Courts — told a well-attended opening ceremony that the new store located at the Reliance Centre demonstrated her company’s continued willingness to “invest in the Jamaican economy”.
Williams said the Unicomer Group was proud that “we have been able to increase the number of stores (in Jamaica) to a total of 11 Courts Optical, 12 Courts Ready Cash and 28 Courts locations over the past few years plus continue our store refurbishment programme”.
Ten students described as “needy” from schools in Mandeville received eye care gift vouchers from Courts Optical at the opening ceremony.
